Andy and Ruthie's Wedding

The grounds were beautiful, and Cadence LOVED all the fountains.

Getting three kids to smile at the same time is hard....

Ok... now we're back before the wedding. I thought it was sweet watching Tony carry his little sweetheart around, with her in one arm and her hat in the other.

A Fun Day Today

Playing “Stop! Go!”,

blowing bubbles as a potty treat,

chasing Mama with the sprinkler,

hot dogs for lunch,

watching Daddy mow,

then playing in the sand with front end loaders and dump trucks –

a guitar concert in the park with lots of swinging and playing,

reciting our strength and shield memory verse,

playing with the armor of God,

singing Jesus songs with Daddy playing guitar…

ten second hugs,

kisses,

and Eskimo kisses at night-night time.

It just doesn’t get much better than this!

Zoo Trip and Last of May Pictures

The last day of school I took Cadence to the zoo to see the new baby elephants before the summer rush.

She had so much fun the whole time we were there. For some reason she was really impressed the gorilla was sitting down, and loved ALL the monkeys.

Until this one "attacked" her. She was sitting there, and they were waving at each other, and the orangutang came running over and put his hand on the glass by her face. Eek! After she finished crying she went back over there and waved bye-bye, so there were no hard feelings :)

She LOVED the elephants. For the next several weeks she couldn't stop talking about the 'big BIG' elephants, and made trumpeting sounds, and told her stuffed animals all about the big big baby.

One of her favorite stops was the ducks, fish and turtles. Sometimes I think she just likes the word turtle.

Of course, the tigers were a hit too... how could they not be?

Last day with Grace - Cadence still asks about her, but doesn't cry or anything when I remind her she's "bye-bye"

 The big blue one is a duck, the little blue one is a cow, and the red one is Daddy. She told me that when she was painting, and her story stayed consistent until I took the picture down to put it away.

 Cadence concentrated VERY hard, and conducted very well :)
